  • 1 block Tofu firm or extra firm
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs panko or regular
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut it into ½-inch thick slices.
  3. In a bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Brush each tofu slice with BBQ sauce, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Place the breaded tofu slices on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
