Instructions
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
Rub the chicken with olive oil and BBQ rub.
Open the beer can and take a few sips (or pour out about ¼ of the beer).
Place the beer can in the cavity of the chicken, standing it upright.
Place the chicken on the grill, using the beer can and the chicken legs to keep it stable.
Close the grill lid and cook for about 90 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
Carefully remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 10 minutes before carving.
