Add BBQ sauce, corn, and cooked macaroni to the skillet. Stir to combine.
Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
In a mixing bowl, combine cornmeal, flour, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, whisk together milk, egg, and vegetable oil. Add to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
Pour the cornbread batter over the macaroni mixture in the baking dish.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cornbread topping is golden brown.
Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
