Ingredients

  • 1 loaf Baguette sliced into ½ inch pieces
  • 2 units Pears halved and cored
  • 4 oz Blue Cheese crumbled
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black Pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Brush the pear halves with olive oil and place them on the grill. Grill for about 3-4 minutes on each side until they have nice grill marks and are tender. Remove from grill and let cool slightly.
  3. While the pears are grilling, brush the baguette slices with olive oil and place them on a baking sheet. Toast in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Once the pears are cool enough to handle, slice them thinly.
  5. Top each toasted baguette slice with a few slices of grilled pear, a sprinkle of crumbled blue cheese, a drizzle of honey, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy!
