Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 3 lbs Pork Shoulder
  • 1 cup BBQ Sauce
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. In a Dutch oven, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Season the pork shoulder with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  4. Sear the pork shoulder on all sides until browned, about 5 minutes per side.
  5. Add BBQ sauce and chicken broth to the Dutch oven. Bring to a simmer.
  6. Cover the Dutch oven and transfer to the preheated oven. Braise for 4 hours, or until the pork is tender and easily shredded.
  7. Remove the pork from the oven and shred with two forks. Mix the shredded pork with the sauce in the Dutch oven.
  8. Serve the pulled pork on buns or as a main dish with your favorite sides.
