Marinade
- 500 g pork shoulder
- 2 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 2 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon Chinese five-spice powder
- 1 tablespoon rice wine
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
Mix all the marinade ingredients in a bowl.
Add the pork shoulder, ensuring it's well-coated.
Marinate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Place the pork on a rack over a baking tray.
Roast for 45 minutes, basting occasionally with the leftover marinade.
Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
