Butter one side of each slice of bread.
Place two slices of bread, buttered side down, in a skillet over medium heat.
Add two slices of cheese on each piece of bread.
Top with the remaining slices of bread, buttered side up.
Cook until golden brown, then flip and cook the other side until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
