  • 1 whole Grapefruit halved
  • 2 oz Tequila
  • 1 oz Lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 oz Simple syrup
  • 2 oz Club soda
  • 1 pinch Salt for rimming the glass
  • 1 slice Lime for garnish

Instructions 

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Place the grapefruit halves on the grill, cut side down. Grill for about 5 minutes until charred.
  3. Juice the grilled grapefruit into a cocktail shaker.
  4. Add tequila, lime juice, and simple syrup to the shaker. Fill with ice and shake well.
  5. Rim the glass with salt. Strain the mixture into the glass over ice.
  6. Top with club soda and garnish with a lime slice.
