Ingredients

Marinade

  • ½ cup Olive Oil
  • ¼ cup Orange Juice freshly squeezed
  • ¼ cup Lime Juice freshly squeezed
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin ground
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano dried
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper freshly ground
  • 1.5 lbs Beef Steak flank or skirt steak

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, orange juice, lime juice, garlic, cumin, oregano, salt, and black pepper to make the mojo marinade.
  2. Place the beef steak in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade and let any excess drip off.
  4. Grill the steak for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.
  5. Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing against the grain.
