Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Octopus cleaned
  • 1 cup Olive Oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper freshly ground

Instructions 

  1. 1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the octopus and cook for 40 minutes or until tender.
  2. 2. Remove the octopus from the water and let it cool slightly. Cut into serving pieces.
  3. 3. In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Toss the octopus pieces in the marinade.
  4. 4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the octopus for 3-4 minutes per side, until charred and crispy.
  5. 5. Serve hot with extra lemon wedges on the side.
