Grilled Oysters with Fennel Butter

Main Ingredients
- 12 pieces Oysters fresh, in shell
- 1 stick Butter softened
- 1 bulb Fennel finely chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper freshly ground
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
In a mixing bowl, combine softened butter, chopped fennel, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
Shuck the oysters, leaving them on the half shell. Place a small dollop of fennel butter on each oyster.
Place the oysters on the grill. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, until the butter is melted and the oysters are just cooked through.
Remove from the grill and serve immediately.
