Instructions
1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
2. Form the ground beef into 4 patties.
3. Grill the patties for about 5 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your liking.
4. In a skillet, sauté the sliced onions until caramelized.
5. Butter one side of each slice of rye bread.
6. Place a slice of Swiss cheese on the unbuttered side of 4 slices of bread.
7. Add a grilled patty and some caramelized onions on top of the cheese.
8. Top with the remaining slices of bread, buttered side out.
9. Grill the sandwiches on the skillet until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
