Grilled Salmon with Pesto Sauce

Salmon and Pesto
- 4 fillets Salmon about 6 oz each
- 2 cups Fresh Basil Leaves
- ½ cup Olive Oil
- ¼ cup Pine Nuts toasted
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- ½ cup Parmesan Cheese grated
- 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
- to taste Salt and Pepper
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
Grill the salmon for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
While the salmon is grilling, prepare the pesto sauce. In a blender, combine basil leaves, olive oil, pine nuts, garlic, Parmesan cheese, and lemon juice. Blend until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Once the salmon is cooked, top each fillet with a generous spoonful of pesto sauce.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
