Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 block firm tofu
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons mirin
  • 2 tablespoons sake
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup steamed broccoli
  • 1 carrot julienned
  • ½ avocado sliced
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions 

  1. Press the tofu to remove excess water, then cut into cubes.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, mirin, sake, sugar, ginger, and garlic.
  3. Marinate the tofu in the mixture for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a grill pan over medium heat.
  5. Grill the tofu until golden brown on all sides.
  6. Assemble bowls with rice, grilled tofu, broccoli, carrot, and avocado.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds.
